No Bake Chocolate Chai Oat Bar Raw | Vegan

No Bake Chocolate Chai Oat Bar Raw | Vegan

Makes 10 Bars

Ingredients:

  • ¾ c applesauce
  • ½ c water, warm
  • ½ c maple
  • ⅓ c coconut oil, melted
  • 4 c oats, quick cook *make sure gluten free
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¾ tsp cinnamon, ground
  • ¾ tsp ginger, ground
  • ⅓ tsp cardamom, ground
  • ⅓ tsp cloves, ground
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ½ tsp sea salt

Chocolate

  • ¼ coconut oil, melted
  • ¼ c maple
  • ⅓ c raw cacao
  • Directions

    1. Grease an 8×8” pan.
    2. In a large bowl, mix together the applesauce, water, maple and coconut oil with a whisk until incorporated.
    3. Add oats, spices and sea salt to wet ingredients and mix until incorporated. Pour mixture Into the prepared pan. Place pan in refrigerator
    4. In a small bowl whisk together coconut oil and maple. Add raw cacao and whisk until smooth and shiny. May take a minute to whisk to shiny. Take pan out of the refrigerator, pour chocolate over bars and spread evenly over top. Wrap with plastic wrap and place back in refrigerator for 3 hours to overnight.
    5. Cut into 10 bars, serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
